Gosh, this couldn’t be more true. Police Wives are seriously, without a doubt, some of the strongest women I have ever met.
WHY?
God just knew. He knew when he created you. He knew just by looking at YOU, that YOU could handle this life. He knew you were strong, inside and out. You were made for this.
He knew that you were resilient. He knew you were a fighter. He knew you were unselfish. He knew you were brave.
God made you strong so you could handle all the curve-balls associated with this life. You are strong because you constantly fight back tears even when you are in your lowest, loneliest state.

God made you resilient because you can easily adapt to schedule changes, routines, and tired, drawn-out days. You keep pushing through because this is our life. You are your family’s glue.
God made you a fighter because you take on literally every role imaginable. At times, you are the mom, the dad, the mechanic, the team coach. You can do it all and you are armed and ready for whatever role you must take on at any given moment.
God made you selfless because you willingly put other’s feelings in front of your own. You rarely complain, even when weak.
God made you brave so you are better equipped to deal with the war on cops, police negativity in the media and to spend countless nights alone.
This role is HARD. But God knew that, YOU, my friend, would do it effortlessly. God put you in this role, this life for a reason.
Police Wives go through so much that goes unnoticed and forgotten. The only people who don’t ever forget or who see them clearly are other Police Wives and God. I truly mean this. No one REALLY understands a Police Wife unless you have walked in their shoes.
What you need to remember:
As Police Wives, we must stick together. We are so similar, you know. We have all of these traits because we are Police Wives and God chose them for us. It is important to be each other’s allies. Build each other up and give support. We never want you to feel alone in this police wife life again, because you aren’t. You have a tribe. You have this community of women that all belong together for one main reason: we are strong police wives. Near or far, police wives should stick together.
